Which part of Saranda fits your trip?
Four location choices to compare
Sarandë, also written Saranda, is not one uniform strip of beach. Choose between the central promenade, the port side, the Rruga Butrinti corridor and an elevated address. These are practical planning areas, not official neighbourhood boundaries. A map pin and the final approach to the entrance tell you more than “central” or “sea view”.

Central promenade: choose around everyday walks
The promenade is a central reference for walking, dining and evenings by the water. A Jonianet address such as Titania lets you organise a stay around the central waterfront. Compare the actual room: a balcony, side sea view and full sea view are different choices.
A central position is useful when you plan to spend time there. Ask where luggage is dropped off and how to reach the room from the entrance. Confirm luggage storage and reception for early or late arrival rather than assuming they are available.

Port side: the terminal and hotel are separate addresses
Rruga Mitat Hoxha is a useful reference for the port side. Alyacht lists an address opposite the harbour, while Saranda Backpackers is on this side too. It may simplify a ferry trip, but compare the actual terminal exit with the accommodation entrance.
The port authority describes ticket, security and document checks for passenger-terminal entry. A nearby hotel does not replace those steps. Follow your operator and booking instructions for the required arrival time; this guide gives no universal check-in margin.

Rruga Butrinti: compare positions along the coast
Rruga Butrinti addresses occupy different positions relative to your everyday plans. Demi and Bougainville are therefore not interchangeable: Demi combines waterfront accommodation with dining venues, while Bougainville may suit time deliberately set aside for resort facilities.
Choose how you intend to use the stay, then check the journey to the centre, terminal or excursion departure. For beach and pool photographs, ask what access the selected room rate includes. A waterfront photograph does not establish a reserved lounger, operating pool or step-free approach.

An elevated address: count the return journey too
Sea view is a room feature, not evidence of accessibility. For an elevated listing, check the map pin and the complete final approach: slope, possible steps, vehicle access and lift access to the room.
With children, a pushchair or limited mobility, ask concrete questions: can a taxi reach the entrance, are there steps before the lift, and how is the beach reached? Obtain confirmation for your own needs. No property in this selection is presented as fully accessible or reached by a guaranteed flat walk.

Saranda Backpackers

A hostel option for travellers seeking a dorm and shared bathroom facilities with a port-side base. Compare a bed price with other beds, rather than a whole hotel room.
The owner’s Hostelworld description says it cannot host guests over 50 and lists limited air-conditioning hours. Cooking information contradicts itself. Confirm house rules, arrival time and facilities before booking.
Titania Hotel

The property listing describes rooms with a private bathroom, air conditioning and a refrigerator. Its Jonianet address suits a stay organised around the central promenade.
Balconies and sea views differ by room. Parking has not been reliably established. Confirm reception arrangements for a late ferry rather than assuming unlimited check-in.
Hotel Brilant Saranda

The hotel website distinguishes standard rooms, balconies and different sea-view categories. This is a room choice on the eastern side of the centre, with private parking to confirm.
Ask about the luggage approach and any slopes or steps. Confirm the balcony, view, parking space and entrance for your room; a parking icon is not a reservation.
Alyacht Premium Hotel

The official website describes a position opposite the harbour and underground parking. Full, partial and side sea views are separate room categories.
Check the walk from your terminal, arrival time and garage terms. A harbour address does not establish a particular room aspect or guarantee a quiet night.
Demi Hotel
Waterfront / Rruga Butrinti · Rruga Butrinti
The official website combines sea-view and side-sea-view rooms with a restaurant and lounge bar. It fits a stay that deliberately includes time by the water and at the hotel’s dining venues.
The hotel also advertises music and events. If quiet matters, ask about the room’s position relative to the bar, and confirm the view and parking separately.
Bougainville Bay Hotel

Hotel rooms, suites and apartments are different formats within the complex. Choose it when you intend to use the on-site facilities rather than spending every day away.
The official room page lists spa access by reservation and parking at extra charge. Confirm which pools operate and what your rate includes, including any infinity-pool charges and seasonal conditions.

Check the location of your stay

Arrival, room choice and payment terms
Arriving by ferry, bus or car
Send the accommodation your expected arrival and ask which entrance and drop-off to use. A bus stop, ferry terminal and hotel entrance may be three different places. Save the map pin and contact details offline, and confirm reception when arriving outside usual hours.
With a car, check the parking entrance, any reservation, vehicle space and charges. Alyacht lists underground parking, Brilant private parking and Bougainville parking at extra charge; these are different arrangements. A car-parking space at Titania or the hostel has not been established here.

Compare room, view and total price consistently
Enter the same dates, guests and room allocation before comparing prices. A hostel bed is not a private room, a family suite is not automatically a suitable apartment, and side sea view is not full sea view. Check the bathroom, beds, balcony, breakfast, taxes and payment timing for the actual room selected.
- Confirm extra beds, a cot or connecting rooms if the plan depends on them.
- Read the cancellation deadline and what happens to a deposit.
- Ask which beach, pool, spa and parking elements are included in the rate.
- Confirm currency and payment method for any amount paid at the property.
When does another coastal base fit better?
Choose Sarandë when the town and its arrival and excursion options fit your trip. If the focus is beach days in one place, compare the location with Ksamil or Himarë too. The wider coast guide helps choose the destination; this guide then helps choose the actual accommodation.
