Choose where you want to walk to a swim
Without a car, our starting recommendation is Spile, the beach beside the centre. Potami is at the southern end of the developed waterfront; Livadhi is a separate bay on the other side of old Himarë. The old settlement and castle are uphill. These are not interchangeable addresses along one promenade.

Compare the complete beach day
Compare accommodation plus transport plus any beach charges. A room beside your chosen beach can work better than a cheaper room requiring two rides each day. We have no representative current price list for beach furniture in Ksamil or the Riviera: do not assume a countrywide standard charge.
In April or October, a beach day is an option within a trip, not a promise of operating facilities or swimming weather. In July, focus on how many journeys you want to make. Use the season guide for the differences between coast, towns and mountains.
